LEADERSHIP IN ACTION

Through a wide variety of leadership roles across all grade levels, students are given real opportunities to demonstrate their skills in critical thinking, communication, collaboration, innovation, and service.

Whether leading school events, managing classroom responsibilities, mentoring younger students, or coordinating community service initiatives, our students embody the competencies they develop. These experiences allow them to strengthen their voice, agency, and impact — preparing them to become the leaders the world needs.

STUDENT LIGHTHOUSE TEAM

The Student Lighthouse Team is a group of student leaders who model the school’s leadership culture, guided by The Leader in Me and the 7 Habits. They promote leadership initiatives, organize events, foster inclusivity, and collaborate with staff and peers to support school goals while embodying responsibility, integrity, and service.

CLASS REPRESENTATIVES

Class Representatives play a key role in modeling the values of responsibility, service, and leadership that are at the heart of St. Patrick School’s mission. They participate in leadership meetings, help organize school initiatives, and support community-building activities within their grade.

ATHLETIC TEAM CAPTAIN

The School Sports Captain Team consists of student-athletes chosen for their leadership, sportsmanship, and teamwork. They inspire school spirit, lead practices, and embody respect, perseverance, and fair play.

ADMISSION AMBASSADORS

Our Admission Ambassadors are a select group of students who proudly represent St. Patrick School to prospective families. Coming from diverse backgrounds and interests, they work closely with the Admission Office to lead campus tours, welcome visiting families, and share their personal experiences of life at St. Patrick.

The Debate & Impromptu Club

Students have the opportunity to develop their public speaking and critical thinking skills both during and after the school day at St. Patrick School. The program is designed for students in 7th–12th grade and focuses on strengthening communication skills, analytical thinking, and confidence when speaking in front of an audience.

Through structured debates, impromptu speaking exercises, and interactive activities, students learn to organize their ideas, express their opinions clearly, and defend their arguments effectively. The club also provides opportunities to practice leadership, persuasive communication, and active participation in academic and extracurricular settings.

HARVARD NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL INVITATIONAL FORENSICS TOURNAMENT

Our Debate & Impromptu Team actively participates in both national interscholastic tournaments and prestigious international competitions, giving students the opportunity to challenge themselves and represent our school on larger stages.

One of the highlights of the program is participation in the Harvard National High School Invitational Forensics Tournament, one of the largest and most prestigious high school speech and debate tournaments in the United States. This event gathers thousands of students from schools around the world, providing an exceptional platform for academic competition and cultural exchange.

Through these experiences, our students develop leadership, critical thinking, and advanced communication skills, while gaining the confidence to present and defend their ideas among some of the most talented young debaters internationally. By competing in both national and international tournaments, they continue to grow as articulate, thoughtful, and globally minded learners.
